The funeral of Mrs Adelaide Rout, wife of the late George Rout, was held on Saturday 19th March 1938. She was 89 years old and had been a keen member of the Banham Parish Council for 70 years. Mr. and Mrs. Rout had been at the Horseshoes for more than 24 years.

Mr. John Runacres was buried Saturday 9th October 1948. He had lived at the Horse Shoes for 20 years and was 84 years old. Mrs. C. Rout was at the organ.


The Furniture, Blacksmith's Stock-in-Trade and two Breeding Sows of Mr. Alfred Chapman were to be Sold 24th February 1873
