George Harvey applied for a spirit licence Wednesday 5th September 1866 - Application refused.

On Wednesday 14th February 1906, the representative for the brewers, Steward & Patteson, said that, at the recommendation of the Bench, a door leading from the cellar to the adjoining grocer's shop would be closed off, subject to approval by the directors.
Licence renewal was adjourned for a fortnight.

Licence of the FARRIERS ARMS, Bunwell transferred to this house following closure of the former 17th August 1956

  Thatched building, unspoilt bars
& good beer.

Worth visiting.
