Dwelling House and Brewhouse offered for sale by auction Tuesday 23rd
April 1811.

On Tuesday 20th April 1819, a large cooler at Mr. Howe's
brewery, broke down whilst full of hot wort. About 28 barrels of the
liquor were destroyed. Three men working near-by had sufficient warning
to rush out of the brewery and escape without injury.
