Also a Messuage used as a Grocer's Shop with small Barn, occupied by Thomas Edwards.

In a County Court action held Thursday 5th November 1863 it was heard that John Green had taken over the beerhouse, from James Tolman, at Michaelmas 1861. Mr. Tolman had then taken on the WHITE HORSE at Little Cressingham. (Recorded there from at least 1858).  The sum of £7 11s was in dispute, said by Tolman to be the residual sum due for covenants and fixtures. Mr. Green said that he had fully paid £30 originally agreed and that a later valuation had said that that was too much. After much conflicting evidence, His Honour said he found the case extraordinary and would not come to a hasty conclusion since it was clear that one of the sides had knowingly given false statements.

New (full) licence awarded to John Green Tuesday 5th September 1865.

William Green was granted a new licence (full) Tuesday 8th September 1868.

(Full) Licence was not renewed Tuesday 6th September 1869, the decision being adjourned to session to be held 28th September.
