In 1872 bricklayer John Bush is resident at the HALF MOON according to the J. G. Harrod directory.

There is no indication that the house was trading in alcohol at the time.
In 1875 there is no mention of the HALF MOON, but John Bush is still trading as a bricklayer.

Editor note: Although the 1872 Harrod directory clearly gives Half Moon, could this be in error for a location of Hall Moor ?
