Advertised for sale 9th September 1780 - To be sold and entered upon at Old Michaelmas-day next a very good accustomed Public House called the Magpie....... with Barn, Stable, other convenient Outhouses and about 12 Acres of good Arable Land ....... Now in the Occupation of Mr Thomas Nunn, the Owner. 

Sold by auction 25th April 1785, complete with Barn, Stable, and convenient Outhouses, and about 12 acres of good arable land adjoining. Also a Cottage, with garden, adjoining to the other premises, all in the occupation of the said James Stubbs.

Advertised to let 1904 with 18½ acres of land
