Mr. Fuller Coker first directed the sale of his Estate to be Thursday 17th June 1847.
( Then 14 Lots, with the Garden House being Lot No. 5, as described below.)

On Tuesday 29th August 1848, the Estate of Mr. Fuller Coker, a Bankrupt was to be Sold by Auction. The sale included properties and Land in Shipdham and East Bradenham in 18 Lots.
Lot No. 5 was "A neat and substantial Messuage, called the Garden House, with a productive Garden and Orchard well Stocked with Fruit Trees, containing about Three roods. The property was then Let as two Tenements, one of which was in occupation of Stephen Gathercole.
