Rent in May 1837 , including 9 Acres of Land and a Cottage, was £38 per annum.

All those persons having Claim or Demand against the Estate of William Buckenham, deceased, were to notify to Mr/. Edward A. Buckenham, accountant, of Victoria Road, Diss, as notified 27th June 1878. All those indebted to the Estate were to settle their accounts with the said Executor.

Mr. W. Duncum gave up chicken rearing and put his Poultry and Appliances up for Sale on Tuesday, 9th March, 1937.
The chickens consisted of 50 Rhode Island and Cross Bred Hens.


It was reported Friday 20th December 1940 that the annual share-out of the White Horse Thrift Club was presided over by Mr. W. Duncum and supported by the honorary secretary, Mrs. A. E. Duncum.
£150 was shared amongst the 57 members. (£240 had been shared in 1938 and £230 in 1939 by 85 members)
Afterwards, a social was held, with Mr. A. Brown and Mr. A. E. Freeman as accompanists to a number of local vocalists. Dancing and games followed before the party broke up with a vote of thanks to Mrs. Duncum for providing refreshments.

A Public Meeting was held at the White Horse on Thursday, 12th November 1942, to discuss the ways and means that the Civilian Population could improve the Village, against Invasion.

On Monday 19th September 1949, Mr. William Duncum tendered his resignation as parish clerk since he was leaving the village.

Mr. W. Duncum retired from the position of treasurer of the district branch of the British Legion, October 1949.
