It was advertised 4th June 1791 that a public house was to let in West Newton. ` Inquire of Mr. Lee at Newton. N.B. A man who has been used to husbandry and is acquainted with the management of Lincolnshire Sheep will have the preference.'

Not mentioned 1875 or later.

In 1835, 1836 & 1837 John Robson is occupier of Farm, Brewery and premises.
