Accused 8th January 1862 of receiving straw, to the value of 2s 6d, knowing it to be stolen. Acquitted. (Messrs. Hogge & Co. gave Mrs. Fuller an excellent character for 15 years and confirmed that her husband had been employed by them for 50 years.)

William Pryor was summoned before the Magistrates (Rev F A S Ffolkes and J S E La Fontaine esq.) for allowing drunkenness on the premises April 10th 1909.
Earlier at the same session, Edward Bates was accused of being drunk on licensed premises.
Licensee Pryor was fined £1 with 4s 9d costs
Bates was  fined 5s with 10s 9d costs.
William Pryor also faced charges at the same session for assault of Thomas Carter on 18th April 1909. Carter was in turn accused of assault on engine driver George Elmer. After much discussion the whole case was dismissed.

Freehold, in good repair consisting of five bedrooms, two parlours, large kitchen, bar, cellar, dai8ry, back kitchen, good stables, waggon and cart lodges, cow shed, piggeries, large yard, skittle and quoit ground, large garden and Right of Common of West Winch.

All the Live and dead Farming Stock, Implements, Household Furniture and Other Effects of the late Thomas Bennett were to be sold by Auction Thursday and Friday 17th and 17th December 1841.
The Live Stock including cows, a grey nag, a five-year-old chestnut mare, a black pony, a lot of cocks, hens and pigeons.

 

The Household Furniture and Out-door Effects of the late Mr. Isaac Warren were to be Sold by Auction Monday, 18th December 1893.

The Furniture and Effects of the house were For Sale by Auction, Saturday 3rd October 1931, for Mrs. Marshall.


Bullards proposed closure at the First Joint Committee Meeting of Bullards and Steward & Patteson 29th May 1962 - Not agreed.

Sales given as 64 barrels (of Beer)

42 barrels sold in the final year of trading.
Closure stated to be due to 3 other company houses (S&P) being within one mile radius.
