Provisional removal of licence from the corner of Tombland to new premises in the course of construction at the West corner of Queen Street and St. Michael at Plea granted Tuesday 21st August 1877. Order declared final 26th August1878 and the sign changed to COOPERS.

Licence later to be transferred to the BANK PLAIN RESTAURANT or more famously GUNDRY WHITES.

It was said March 1903 that Mr. Cooper had been bankrupted.
