The Norfolk Chronicle of 25th October 1884 advertised that the trustees of the late
Jeremiah Armon were to offer the house for sale by auction on 11th November 1884.
Included under Gorleston in the 1871 census.
Address
as 85 High Road in 1912, 1925 & 1933
as 84 High Road in 1937.
A letter was
sent from Lacons to the magistrates 1st October 1940, stating that the house was to be
closed for the duration of the war.
The house reopened 18th February 1946.
Licence surrendered 5th February 1971
