At a meeting of the Norwich Justices, Tuesday, 8th March 1955, the application from the Norwich & Norfolk Victuallers Association for a year round extension of hours to 10:30 pm was granted. The extension would run from that evening for a one year trial period. The neighbouring divisions of Taverham and Blofield had already granted the extension.
