Licensed from 6th September 1836 upon transfer of licence from the CROWN & HEART. Rebuilt 1881 Address as 33 - 34 Regent Street in 1883. In 1896 found as at 177 King Street, 40 & 41 Regent Street and 40 Market Place. It was reported 11th September 1897 that a London based Syndicate had purchased the Crown for £24,000. 6 day licence until 01.02.1906 when 7 day licence granted by way of removal from the ROSE, King Street. Closed 1966. |
