A reward of One Guinea was offered for the return of an Old Silver Watch lost by Robert Christmas, a tailor. He had left the DOLPHIN & CROWN in King Street at some time between One and Three in the morning of 4th September 1771 and believed the watch to have been lost or stolen at some time before that. The watch was made by Richard Tills of London, had an enamelled plate, a very bad spring to the outside case and worked with a pendulum. |
Thanks to Kate for finding this one. June 2013
