November 1996 Built 1904 and originally called the GOLF ARMS. On Friday 13th January 1905 the licence was transferred and it was stated that the rent was £30 per year. The GOLFERS ARMS by 1913. Edgar Charles Housego applied 8th January 1914 for the licence held by Henry Arthur Frosdick at the ROPEMAKERS ARMS to be transferred to this house. The application was heard at the Annual, Licensing Meeting of 3rd February 1914. Spirit licence granted 31st March 1914 on removal from the ROPEMAKERS ARMS, Howard Street. |
