In February 1907, a gentleman complained that at midnight, he had walked from the railway station to the Half Way House, without seeing a single policeman. |
Built 1882 at a cost of £900, on the site of the GUARDIAN ANGEL. Location was the half way point between Gt. Yarmouth Haven Bridge and Gorleston Feathers Plain. Used as a stopping place for horse drawn trams. Frontage changed 1938. Sales in the final year of trading were 300 barrels of beer. Demolished 27.09.1968 Some times listed under Gorleston. |
