Lot No. 4 in the sale by Auction Monday, 9th August 1847, of the Estate of the late John Fisher, by Order of his Executors.
Within a total of six Lots including Shops and Dwelling Houses.
In occupation of Mr. Saul Auger at a rental of £20 per annum; consisting of a Shop, Sitting-room, three Sleeping-rooms, wash-house and yard, in which there is a Pump of fine Spring Water.


On Wednesday 27th August 1850, the licence was suspended for twelve months in consequence of the disorderly conduct of the house, as set forth in a memorial presented to the bench by the inhabitants of Charlotte Street.
No record yet found of licence being reinstated.

In the 1851 census William Davey (41) has an address of Litchfield Place and is described as a mariner.
