* John Cossey is given at a beerhouse in either Market Road or South Market Road over the period 1856 to 1869. The other known houses in South Market Road have other licensees named during the same period. In 1871 Martin Walder, Cab Driver, age 27 is given at 1 South Market Road, there is no mention of beer. Neither Mr. Cossey or Mr. Russell can be identified in the 1871 census as being licensees. |
