Henry Scott is listed at an un-named beerhouse in Jetty Road (St. Peters Street) in 1839.
In 1850 he appears to leave the ROYAL STANDARD, Victoria Road and go to the HAPPY JACK, St. Peters Street..

In 1856 he is named at the  REGENT GARDENS, Theatre Plain.

At the Licensing Sessions held Friday 4th September 1857, Mr. H. Scott of the Regent Gardens, Regent Road, and 10 other publicans, applied for new licences (full licences). All applications were dismissed without any consideration.

In 1858 he is back at a beerhouse in St. Peters Road.

Henry Scott appeared before the Court for the Release of Insolvent Debtors 31st January 1859.
He was described as late of Jetty Road, Publican, General Shopkeeper and Journeyman Ship's Carpenter; previously of Row 122 Chapel Street, Journeyman Ship's Carpenter; formerly of Theatre Plain, Publican.
