It was reported in the Norfolk Chronicle of 25th August 1888 that Mr. T. E. Ayres had applied for the full licence of the house to be removed to premises at Ferry Walk, Southtown. The application was opposed by the licensees of the ANSON ARMS and the SEFTON ARMS and was refused by the Bench. In August 1894 the spirit licence was transferred to the MALAKOFF TAVERN upon agreement that the WEAVER'S ARMS and the FISHERMAN'S ARMS would close. Not found after 1894. |
