c1950 The Norfolk Chronicle of 23rd August 1890 reported that Samuel Roling of the WINDMILL TAVERN had applied for the transfer of an Off-beer licence from the OXFORD. The application was granted on condition that the spirit licence of the OXFORD plus the full licence of the NOTTINGHAM ARMS be dropped. Damaged by enemy action during WWII - date not given. Beer & wine licence surrendered 6th February 1959. |
