			Although Horatio Carter is given as the landlord in the 1863 trades 
			directory, it seems that by July 1863 Mr. Munday held the licence. 
			On  Saturday 24th October 1863, Mr. William Munday of the 
			Angel, King Street had been assaulted 
			by Horatio Carter, then a boatman.

				house on 12th January 1859 name the landlord as Robert Barnard 
				at the Angel, King Street. No such person has been discovered as a 
				licensee in Lynn in the period 1850-65.
