Stood almost opposite Marshall street, at the north end of Railway Road.
Described 1955 as the only Truman house in Lynn.
Market Day extension granted 1956.
19th February 1965 - "Weekend pianist required - Telephone 2717".
September 1967 - Plans for redevelopment of the town centre, requiring the
compulsory purchase of 28 properties, including the Barley Mow were
described as "Not fitting in with the rest of the town " and "Quite wrong to
convert a low priced area with useful shops into one that would be too
expensive for anybody except for those who were going to sell cheap goods at
high prices".
The Barley Mow Cribbage Team were active up to 1971.
