Seems to have officially become the DUKE WILLIAM by 1880.

Referred for Compensation 10th March 1913.

Compensation payment of £118 5s was confirmed for owners Colchester Brewery and for share with their tenant, Mr. Smith, at a meeting of the Norfolk Compensation Authority during the week of 20th December 1913.
( The claim had been for £171 12s 6d. )

Licence extinct 13th January 1914.
