From reference dated 1759 (St. Margaret's Church was installed with a peel of eight bells in 1663 for the first time). Norfolk Street forms the boundary between the Kettlewell Ward to the north and the Paradise Ward to the south. A short section of the extreme western end of Norfolk Street forms the boundary between the Jews Lane ward to the north and the New Conduit ward to the south. Probably the same as The BELL which is recorded at Damgate / Norfolk Street from at least 1599. |
