Note :- William Parsley is recorded at the GREYHOUND
in 1861 to 1869. | The TUB by at least 1846.

On Monday 7th February 1859, William Parsley applied for the licence,
issued to the previous occupant in October 1858, who had
decamped in November. Since the name of the previous occupant was
unknown, Mr. Parsley could not apply for a transfer. The magistrates
however made reference to 9 George IV, c.61, a.14 which enacted that the
licence of an absent landlord could be transferred to the new tenant and
be valid to the 10th October following.
With evidence that the previous tenant had removed from the premises,
		the new licence was granted.

Became the PRINCE ARTHUR by 1872.
