Two references 1883 - One gives Thomas Churchman as manager. Second reference gives J Churchman. No record of being licensed. Thomas Churchman, age 43, is named as proprietor of the Temperance Hotel at Bridge Street in 1901. He had married Elizabeth Howard in 1883, but they appeared to be living apart by 1891. In that year and 1901, Thomas was in same house as housekeeper Charlotte Lovick. |
