On Friday 6th December 1839 a complete Brewing Plant at Blakeney was to be sold. Included were leases of three public houses, nineteen years of which remained unexpired at Michaelmas. One of then houses was the Jolly Farmers.

A Freehold property with Tenement, Land Tax 2s 6d when offered for sale August 1847.

At court Monday 16th May 1870, James Burton was charged with having deficient pint and half-pint measures.
Fine of 4s 6d.

Document dated 30.09.1895 records conveyance from Betsy Neal Primrose & Oldman Carter (TRUNCH BREWERY) to Morgans.

House appears on Holt Register commencing 6th February 1920.

Licence appears as SUSPENDED in register 28/11/3 (February 1948 to 1959) and does not appear at all in later registers.

Closed between 1942 & 1948

Ownership of the building was transferred from Morgans Brewery to the village of Baconsthorpe in 1954. The main building was subsequently demolished (pre 1960) since it was considered to be in a dangerous condition.
