c1920 This house included as Part of an Estate to be Sold by Private Contract, as advertised 9th April 1785. Other properties were :- a Brewery and 21 Drawing Houses with 16 Brewer's Licences to them; also, in Norwich, the Twins, St. Laurence, the Baker's Arms, St Augustine, the Cat & Fiddle, St. Saviour's. Enquire at the Old Cat & Fiddle. An Estate was sold by auction here 26th April 1804. The will of Elizabeth Noble was proved 31st December 1816, her `Personals' were valued at £200. For Sale by Private Contract March 1834. With three parlours, bar, kitchen, pantry, six sleeping rooms, corn chamber, wine & beer cellars, Orchard and One Acre of Land. In occupation of Mr. Tuddenham. All persons having claim or demand upon the late Charles Ecclestone were requested to send an account to his widow at Barford Cock, 22nd December 1847. Property of Charles Crawshay as recorded 17th March 1888. Sold by Y, C & Y Partnership to Youngs, Crawshay & Youngs Company for completion 1st February 1898. No change recommended at first joint S&P & Bullards Committee
