Daniel, the second son of the late Mr. Wells of the Kings Arms, died
aged 21. As reported Saturday 1st June 1833.

Consisting of a spacious kitchen, large bar, two parlours, back kitchen,
pantry, an arched cellar to hold ten, and store room five barrels of beer
in lower tier, a club chamber, and four sleeping rooms, a brew-house,
wherein is brewed five coombs of malt, three stables to contain 24 horses,
coal and sand house, with other offices, &c. Also a pump of excellent
water.

Advertised September 1857 "To be disposed of at Michaelmas next. The
present occupier having lived there for upwards of 30 years and the only
reason for leaving being the indisposition of his wife."
