It was reported February 1904 that Arthur Shorten had been summoned
during the previous year for permitting drunkenness - Case had been
dismissed.
Sales for 1960 were 54 barrels of beer and 20 spirits.
Sales of 69 barrels of beer reported at First Joint Committee Meeting of
Bullards and S&P, 29th May 1962, when closure was recommended.
The licensee being said to be aged 55 and to have been at tenant for 4 years. Licence
not renewed 8th February 1965,
but not officially closed until 8 months later
according to Bullards records. |
