A Quit Match was held here Monday 20th May 1811 between George Withers,
Robert Harmer, William Mansfield and Thomas Bond, for Twenty Pounds.
31st July 1813 - Robert Cann informed his Friends and the Public in
general that he had taken the Inn, lately in the occupation of Robert
Harmer.
