On Friday 20th February 1889, Amos Easto was charged with being drunk and disorderly in the Greyhound on 6th February. He had sold his moustache for 2s and the removal of half of it by one person and the other half by another, had caused great amusement.
He was fined 5s and costs of £1 3s 6d, which he paid.
