Offered for sale by auction Wednesday 30th July 1851, along with adjoining
Butcher's Shop, and Two Cottages. sale by order of the Executors of the late
Mrs. Manning.
Trading ceased 10th March 1965 according to letter from Bullards dated 17th
March 1965, with
notification that the house was to be sold de-licensed.
Note:-
The 1863 Harrod directory gives Benjamin Habberton at the
WILD HORSE.
The same directory gives William Allen, beer retailer, boot & shoe maker, at
the BLACK HORSE, Burnham
Market, but in previous years, this gentleman is at the Black Horse, Sprowston.
