Sold for £700 by John Angel Youard to Mr. Elijah Southerland (of Brancaster) as documented 23rd August 1859.

For Sale by Auction Monday 12th September 1859. In occupation of Henry Bray as undertenant to Elijah Eyre, Esq.
A Freehold property, substantially built and well-established, with stable, gig-house, yard and out-houses.
Adjoining Bake-house, and Cottage adjoining included in the sale, also Two Cottages with commodious Blacksmith's and Wheelwright's Shops adjoining. Together with a walled in Garden of about 61 yards by 28 yards.

8th August 1861 - Thomas Nudds was fined 15s, including costs, for assaulting William Thompson.

The Household Furniture and other Effects of Mr. William Dorton were to be Sold by Auction, Friday, 8th October 1875 since he was leaving the Inn.

Trade given in March 1905 as 70 barrels of beer and 72 gallons of spirits per year.

Closure agreed at First Joint Committee Meeting of Bullards and S&P 29th May 1962.
Sales given as 37 barrels of beer.
The licensee was said to be aged 37 and to have been a tenant for 7 years.
