On Tuesday 29th May 1866 the
NEW INN, Coleby, was advertised for sale by
auction.
Described as a desirable Tenement, known as the New Inn, near the
Turnpike Road, with newly erected Club House and adjoining Dwelling
House, Gardens, Stable, Outbuildings and a Well of excellent Wall.
