(Protection order) |
|
At the Petty Sessions, Tuesday, 16th January 1917 it was heard that a
Protection Order had been issued to Edward Roberts upon the death of
Mrs. Susannah Bridges.
The house was owned by Lord Kimberly and Roberts had not gained his
consent to take over the tenancy. Lord Kimberly had allowed Mrs Bridges
to be tenant for as long as she lived, and that from the moment she died
the tenancy should cease and the licence lapse.
Mr. Roberts was instructed to wind the the business up and close it by
6th February 1917 because the licence would lapse on that date. |
