Note: Mr. Edward Seppings is at the

from at least 1844 to 1846. He was first declared bankrupt in April
1847.

Harrison's Hotel is mentioned in an article published 12th July 1820 on
the attractions of Hunstanton, "an interesting and sequestered spot,
never really appreciated."
It was reported 2nd September 1843 that the
delightful summer resort had never been known to be so full of visitors.
The new marine grottos being quite a novelty. The Hotel De Paris,
Harrison's Hotel and the Lion having had their fair share of business.

In May 1845 it was reported that the Hotel De Paris had been extended
and was united to Harrison's Hotel.

To be Sold by Auction Friday, 14th January 1848 by direction of the
Assignee of the Estate of Edward Seppings, a Bankrupt.
All that Substantial Freehold INN, known as Harrison's Family Hotel.
Containing Two commodious Sitting Rooms, a Bar, Kitchen, back Kitchen,
Pantry and Store Rooms, with convenient Passages and well-arranged Water
Closet (plentifully supplied with water), on the first and second
floors; also a TAP at the North end of the Hotel, with large Cellar and
Sleeping Room.
Outbuildings consisting of Four superior four-stalled Stables, large
Coach-house, with appropriate Harness and Ostlers Rooms, and a
convenient Yard, and a tank of Water holding upwards of 700 barrels of
water, and a small Sitting Room adjoining the Cliff.
The property having a Frontage of 68 feet next the Cliff, and most of
the Sitting and Bed Rooms have commanding and uninterrupted Views of the
German Ocean, with Jetty and Promenades, and is considered likely to be
one of the most lucrative Concerns in the pleasant Town of Cromer.
