29 year-old Sergeant P. J. Dunnell,
of the Half Moon Hotel, Deopham, was one of the crew of 7 of
a RAF Lincoln bomber, RF531, shot down by Russian MIG's over
Germany 12th March 1953. He was buried at his home town.
The others killed were, Squadron leader Harold Fitz, Flight
Lieutenant S. V. Wyles, Sergeant R. F. Stevens, Sergeant K.
J. Jones, Sergeant W. R. Mason and Sergeant G. Long. |
