8th October 1791 - Mr. P. Rayner informed Gentlemen, Travellers and
Drovers that he had Accommodation with good beds, stables, pastures,
wines of the best quality, on the most reasonable terms.
The White House was said to be situated at the Entrance of the North End
of Dickleburgh.
He informed Drovers that he intended to create a bridge from the road to
his own grounds, which would obviate the inconvenience of driving flock
through the water, which was opposite his house.
(Location of North End of Dickleburgh upsets the idea that this is the
same as the WHITE HORSE,
which was East of Dickleburgh, North of Langmere Green.)
