Diss Brewery was owned by Charles Simpson, who died
in 1771. On the night of Thursday 4th November 1819 the counting-house of the brewery of John Dyson Esq., was broken open. Upwards of £5 in silver and copper was stolen. Brewery, 2 Cottages and a Blacksmith's shop sold by John Dyson in 1823. |
