Henry Howes informed the public, 28th February 1879, that he had removed from the Lion Inn, Palgrave, to the Railway Tavern. A Nurseryman, Seedsman and Florist he would provide Ornamental Shrubs, Fruit and Forest Trees of great variety at reasonable prices. There was a quantity of Whitethorn for sale. He offered good Accommodation for Commercial Gentlemen and Others with Well Aired Beds.
