Offences said to have occurred on 14th June and again on the 28th June.
With contradictory evidence the charge was dismissed.

In 1851 age 70 and occupation Journeyman Carpenter.

James Land died in the first quarter of 1861.
His widow Sarah Land is given as age 74 and a shopkeeper in the 1861 census. Location is near Smithy, West of Church.
