Mary Ann Morgan was charged, during the week ending Saturday 21st February 1857, of having stolen three pairs of child's socks, a piece of calico, two yards of ribbon, child's pinafore, one purse and two pieces of black Coburg, the property of Elizabeth Horsley.

 

Henry Diamond, "a bonnie Scotchman", managed Clydebank Football Club from 1919 to 1923. Following arrival at the Angel, he was a member of the committee of the Fakenham F.C. for two years, and was "well-known for his outspoken views and comments".
