Charged Monday 30th
September1872 of allowing drunkenness in her house. Being the first time
that a case such as this, under the new Act, to come before the Bench,
the licence was not endorsed, but a fine of £1 and 9s 6d costs imposed.
A warning was issued to all publicans that harbouring drunkenness was a
dangerous thing for them under the new Act. |
