Shown on Bryant's 1826 map.13⅜ barrels sold in final
year of trading.
House closed 1959 according to S&P documentation.
However S&P (Ely) wrote to the Thetford Licensing Justices 07.01.1964 stating, `
Since sale of intoxicants at the above having ceased some considerable time ago, the house
closed and the licence is not being made use of elsewhere, we now wish to voluntarily
surrender the licence'.
In spite of this request the last licence for the house was issued 5th February 1964.
