It was reported Friday, 14th January 1944, that a  Private Cyril Bix, son of Mrs. H. Bix, of 78, Abbey Road, Flitcham, was a prisoner at a Japanese camp in Thailand. He was in good health and spirits. He was working for pay. (According to his postcard)
