One of 12 houses purchased by Steward & Patteson 3rd August 1929 for the total sum of £17,820.

1996 - "One of the very few totally unspoilt licensed houses in Norfolk".

Landlady Winnie Lawes was featured in an article in the Eastern Daily Press 7th October 1997, then celebrating 50 years `behind the bar'.

The house closed and plans to convert to a dwelling were opposed.
