Benjamin Lane was granted a new licence (full) Tuesday 8th September
1868.
The decision to renew the licence was postponed at the sessions held
Monday 14th February 1916. It was considered that the division had a
redundancy of public houses. The
Royal Oak at East Harling and the
Angel
at Attleborough were the other houses included in the list to be
determined.
Friday 22nd December 1916 - Compensation fixed at £516
13s 6d, 5 per cent to be paid to the tenant and the remainder to the
owner.
